Cake & Batter strives to give voices to independent creators. If you are an established writer or just writing for fun, it doesn't matter. Your ideas should be heard.

Jake Morgan is a graduate of Columbia College Chicago. Growing up in Indiana, he was always looking for a new story to tell and making videos with his cousins. He is a Screenwriter/Director/Producer who likes to focus on heavy dialogue pieces that emphasize heavy drama alongside extremely dark comedy.

Cole Travis is a graduate of Columbia College Chicago. Growing up in Michigan, he began making home movies as a child. He would act on stage but soon come to realize that he felt better suited behind the camera. He now writes and directs with an emphasis on symbolism and colors.

Adam J. Losoya is a Chicago born, Mexican, screenwriter and graduate of Columbia College Chicago. "As a writer, my concepts normally revolve around a 'slice of life' mentality, while also adding in eccentric elements to heighten the atmosphere. As a filmmaker, I believe collaboration is key."

Actor/Producer

Joshua is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. He got into acting in 2017 and his passion for it has only continued to grow. He had the opportunity to work with the Cake & Batter executive team as an actor on Slap Happy and furthered that relationship with a role in Night Shroud.

Dale Dobson wants to help realize unique perspectives and compelling stories on film. He met Cake & Batter's executive team while working as an actor on Slap Happy and has written for National Lampoon and Cracked.com. He has also written for stage and television and is producing on a couple of upcoming feature
